Banquet for Dermott’s Company K Honors Returning Troops
Eighteen members of Company K led by 1st Lieut. R. L. Woolfolk and 2nd Lieut. J. B. Daniels returned to Dermott on the 8:30 train from Little Rock. Townspeople welcomed them at the station and hosted a banquet at Hotel Dermott organized by the Board of Trade with six courses and addresses of welcome. Lieut. Woolfolk spoke on Preparedness and reported on the company’s border service while local leaders praised their record.
