Automobile Fire at Remley Home Damages Car
A Monday afternoon blaze at the P. Remley residence involved their Jeffrey automobile and a neighboring Chalmers in the garage. Mr. Remley removed the burning car but a yard pile of dry leaves ignited in the wind, threatening the scene until firefighters or helpers extinguished the flames. The damaged auto was sent to Little Rock for repairs and an investigation into the ignition source, suspected to be an electrical spark from a metal brush handle.
