A A Salle aged 65 died at the rail road hospital in Little Rock after a brief illness. An employee of the Iron Mountain railroad, he had been in charge of the pumping station here for six months. He had no relatives locally and his remains were brought to Dermott for interment under the Odd Fellows lodge, of which he was a member.

Car Wreck Near Arkansas City Injures Five
Last Friday a Ford belonging to Gibson Bros and driven by Carl Adams overturned about a mile and a half from Arkansas City on the way to Dermott. The car struck a ditch, the wheel broke, and it turned over with occupants crawled free. None were seriously hurt though all sustained injuries and burns. The car was damaged. it was repaired to Dermott the next day. Passengers listed include AG Bavanaugh Young Oliver Tiggeins and others.
