Long-Brumfield Brings Long and Brumfield Together in 1906
On August 20 1906 Daniel H Long of Need Indiana married Amelia G Brumfield of Denver Indiana at the groom’s home in the presence of forty four relatives friends and neighbors Reverend D W Hostet ler officiated. A grand wedding supper followed prepared by the brides daughters and daughters in law. The evening included social chat and a later old fashioned belling with sixty five boys and men supervised by J E Hastings. Aaron Cripe remarked to keep good conduct and return for others.

Baby Dies, Father and Mother Mourn in Denver Funeral
A child died on July 20 as the father Milton Tharp passed away earlier, and the widow mourns. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Baptist church in Denver by Rev. J. Q. Kline. The infant rests in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
