Eighteen Dead in Philadelphia Fire and Other Disturbances

Pan-American Exposition losses exceed four million with damages to builders and mortgage holders. Hammond Packing Co fire estimates reach one million, with rebuilding planned in months. In Samar no fighting, while Henry Wiseman confesses to the Royal Oak murder. Crescents breaks half mile record in Kansas City.
