The State Board of Health closed all schools and public venues including churches and theatres due to a nationwide Spanish influenza outbreak. No Services Amid Influenza State Closures

Mrs Tom Cunningham Dies At Home Of Son North Of Perrysburg
Mrs Tom Cunningham died at her son Lawrence Cunningham's home north of Perrysburg after a long illness. Her home was in Castleberry Alabama but she had lived with her children recently. Funeral services were held at the Cunningham home Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, with burial in the I O O F cemetery near Deedsville.

War Exhibit train stops in Denver crowds wartime relics
Monday afternoon a few hundred people gathered at the depot to glimpse the War Exhibit train on a brief twenty minute stop moving from the Vandalia to the Lake Erie railroad.
