Fred Sunday from Wabash traveled to Denver Saturday afternoon to attend a concert on the public square given by the Denver Merchants Band. He also visited his mother Mrs. Sunday and spoke of his three rested children and his brother Joe Sunny and family. He returned to Wabash Sunday forenoon.

A large crowd attended the first concert by the newly organized Denver Merchants Band on the Public Square. The group, though new, features many seasoned players and delivered high quality music. Elizabeth Ann Conrad born near Pittsburg Pennsylvania March 10 1835 moved to a Twelve Mile area farm as a child and died September 20 1919 aged 84 years five months ten days She was the daughter of Daniel and Sarah Conrad one of nine children and widow of Richard Skinner two sons Dudley of Cando North Dakota and Charles at home a foster daughter Mrs Willard Smith of Toledo Ohio three grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive with many relatives.

At a Monday meeting the Town Board set procedures for the upcoming general election on November 4 1919. The current officials’ terms expire January 1 1920 and a new Board and Clerk-Treasurer will be chosen. Election Inspector W T Lee will select two judges to form the Election Board and oversee the vote. Candidates will be nominated at mass meetings or by petition. A Licensing ordinance granting control over certain amusements was approved. The next meeting is set for October 13.
The Women s Baptist Missionary Society will meet with Chloe Golden on Wednesday October 8. The meeting was postponed from the previous week at the Weasaw Home.
