Deedsviles Thomas Cunningham and wife visited his Denver area relatives last Sunday. Frank McElwee and family from Peru and Mr and Mrs Dr Waite of Rochester were guests of C A Rannells and wife. Moses Murphy from Denvery came on a business trip to the Burg. Palmer Carvey and wife visited Carvey's sick mother in Macy. We enjoyed substantial rainfall. George Merley of Tiosa visited his brother in law M D. Denver painters finished the U S church and left.

Andrew M Hann died suddenly last Monday forenoon while helping move household goods from the depot to a new home along the Erie railroad. The coroner declared heart disease the cause after an inquest. Funeral services were at Courter church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. his wife had died about two weeks earlier at Lafontaine.
Fresh oysters at Kikenberry's and tobacco items in town. Mrs. Lulu Brashier returns from relatives visit. Mrs. Laura Gerard hosted by Mrs. Dora Kenster in Deedsville. George Kikenberry back from Ohio visit. Merrit Woolpert and family in Denver guests of N. A. Arnest. Peru visitors include Bertha Wright, Dore Grimes and Maud Darck at Mrs. J. O'Brian's. John Hans attends brother Andrew's funeral in town from Indianapolis. Mrs. J. O. Huffman visits Mae on way to Columbia City. Maggie Murden gravely ill with little hope of recovery. Nice, longtime Chili resident, died. funeral in Chili. Robert G. Robins, seven months, dies. community sympathy noted. Miss Gertie Bond hosts ghosts party with Robins, Wright, Vores Me, Brownley, Haney, Leonard. Sugar beets shown as promising local crop.
