Nat Stanley Dies After Week Long Illness
Nat Stanley, formerly of Denver, died Thursday afternoon in Calvin after a weeklong illness from a paralytic stroke. Born December 4, 1840 in Wooster Ohio, he moved with family from Indiana to North Dakota in 1899 and resided on a homestead before relocating to Calvin last fall. He leaves a wife two daughters a son Roy and eleven grandchildren with a sister Mrs Cuffee. The funeral was held in Calvin Saturday morning.

Manchesters Visit Denver During Move to Michigan
Rev and Mrs C N Manchester traveled by car from Plymouth Illinois to Flint Michigan stopping in Denver for a few hours to visit old friends and handle business.
