Death of Edward Gerard Near Deedsville
Edward Gerard a 77 year old farmer near Deedsville died suddenly at work last Friday. He appeared strong for his age and likely died of heart failure while in the woods. A neighbor found him with his dog nearby after he did not return home for supper. Funeral services were conducted in Deedsville on Sunday with burial in the Deedsville cemetery.

Mrs Wade Dies After Long Illness in Denver Home
Mrs. Joseph Wade died Monday evening at her south Denver home after a short pneumonia illness. She had cared for her helpless invalid husband for over a year and leaves a husband two sons Noah Dininger of Indianapolis and Burton Wade of Berian Springs Michigan plus other relatives. Funeral service was held at the house Wednesday by Rev Hubbard of North Manchester and burial followed in the Denver I O O F Cemetery.

Ephraim Hill died at his Deedsville home after a lingering illness. He ran a general store in Deedsville for years. A post mortem will be held to determine the cause. The funeral is scheduled for this afternoon in Deedsville.
