Mary Wade longtime resident dies at 74 in Union Township
Mary Wade born January 6 1838 in Miami County Indiana was the first white girl born in Union Township. She married Jesse Dininger in 1858 and had sons Orin and Nash. After multiple losses she remarried Joseph Wade in 1871 and had Burton and Nellie. Nellie died in 1888. She joined the Baptist church and later the Seventh Day Adventist church. Wade died June 24 1912 at age 74 years 5 months 18 days leaving a husband two children Noah and Burton two brothers and a sister along with thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She rests in Jesus until Life Giver comes.
