Bite by Unruly Watch Dog Injures Woman in Alley
Mrs. Rosalia Bender of South Payson street was badly bruised and bitten by J. H. Goff's dog Monday evening in the alley. The dog broke its chain and attacked her as she walked westward, knocking her down and biting her arm. A doctor found bruised hip and nervous shock. The dog was killed later that night amid fears of further attacks.

Mrs. Caroline Stoffer Dies at 73 Near Ebenezer
Mrs. Caroline Stoffer wife of Alman Stoffer died at her home two miles southeast of Ebenezer Monday morning from apoplexy. She was about seventy four and mother of seven children. Survivors include her husband and children. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 PM at the home with burial on the old Yike farm.
