Collision on electric rail near Gloversville kills fifteen

In four miles of electric Mountain Lake line north of Gloversville New York two passenger cars collided head on. Fifteen people were killed and twenty nine injured. The crash occurred as crowds returned from a resort.

Balloon Abduction A Man Clings To Tree During 6000 Foot Flight

Louis Ward, 20, was carried aloft when his foot caught a balloon rope during an ascent in Milford Massachusetts. He hung head downward for about thirty five minutes, then landed safely in a tree top a mile from the launch after the parachute was released. The balloon descended and Ward grabbed a limb to survive. the aeronaut released the parachute and landed.

Hospital Patient Missing After Baggage Car Incident

A 28 year old theological student Paul Hertrick son of Rev Dertrick of late Minnesota disappeared after a June 16 injury while being moved to Minneapolis for treatment. He was last reported resting in a baggage car en route to the city during college vacation work as a carpenter in Allmay Minnesota.
