Marriage at Logansport Unites Musselman and Skinner Couple

George Musselman and Jessie V. Skinner wed at the Baptist parsonage in Logansport with Bro. Huckleberry officiating. The couple, joined by J. E. Black and wife, were later hosted to a wedding supper at the bride’s father’s home in Twelve Mile. The bride, an accomplished musician, wore white Persian lawn. the groom, a farmer, wore latest tippe t worsted. They plan to reside at Twelve Mile after July 1.

Wesleyan Methodist Protracted Meeting in Denver

The Wesleyan Methodists of Peru begin a protracted meeting at the old Denver school house Thursday at 7 30 p m conducted by Rev Younts and Peru ministers. All Christian people in Denver and vicinity are welcome. The renovated school house will host the event lasting over Sunday.

Pioneer Woman Dies After Short Illness

Mrs. William Cool an aged pioneer of the county died at her daughter Mrs Anson Williams home northwest of town last Tuesday after a brief illness. The funeral will be held at the Weasaw church this morning. An extended obituary is promised for next week.

M. E. Church Notes Preview August Dedication and Activities

The M E Church notes progress toward a planned dedication around August 24 with plans maturing. Ladies Aid reports profit from a rainy Saturday social and promotes a Fourth of July picnic at the church serving sandwiches coffee ice cream and cake to benefit the church. The pastor and wife visited Charles and Aly Long and a general prayer meeting is set for Thursday evening at Brother Charlie Luckenbill's home.
