We thank friends and neighbors who aided us during the death of our loved one. Grimes and Family express gratitude to the minister singers and all who sent floral offerings.
The route shows the L. H. Ranft Show traveling through Doylestown Ohio on Saturday June 4 and continuing to Masshaville and Dalton Oregon in July with further dates listed. It mentions Charles Alder and family as part of the traveling party.
Mrs Mary Fry shopped in Peru last Friday seeking a home for a 14 year old boy on a farm. Fern Guyer works at the Peru Mercantile Store this week. Mrs Harry Berkner of South Bend visited John Dawalt and family. Mr J R Moody visiting Noblesville and Indianapolis with Irola.
Residents recount trips to Peru to view the aeroplane event. Guests include Samuel and Dick Robbins Claud Kindig Clarence Hattery Elmer Conner Ross Robbins and Will Deeds of Chicago. Local families host guests from Twelve Mile Macy Perrysburg and Denver with dinners and visits noted.
Frank Matthias visited his sister on weekend with May Saturday and Sunday. Clint Murphy injured his head and shoulder after falling from a hay load last week and is slowly improving. Elmer Lantz and family and Aaron Berger spent Sunday with Mrs Mary Berger. Mary Berger visited Mrs Anna Tomson of Woolley Town Friday. Berger was the 2 in Perit the first.
A Sunday evening surprise on June 28 honored Mrs. Earl Staley for her twenty fifth birthday anniversary. Mr. Earl Staley arranged the event at their home fourteen miles southeast of Perrysburg with thirty relatives and friends and a generous dinner. Guests listed include Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hahn of Peru and many others from Mexico Twelve Mile Denver and Bethlehem.
A humorous note quotes a lifelong critic of town growth lamenting his own impact while admitting the town is beginning to grow. He fears sidewalks and streets would force him to concede, though he remains the chief knocker. Mr. and Mrs. Ly. H. Dice return from Portland, Ind. after a week with Mrs. Dice's parents, Rev. Lacey.

Mrs Louisa Williams Wilbur Personette Williams Balsbaugh and Warner of Rensselaer are mentioned. Rev LG Jacobs is visiting relatives in Ohio this week.
