Mrs. Elbert Kline Ill After Sudden Deterioration

Mrs. Elbert Kline, ill for several days, worsened Tuesday evening to a critical condition. Waymire was summoned and Dr Line of Chili assisted. As we go to press, Mrs. Kline is reported to be a little better.

Blind Preacher Reports Successful Revival in Omega near Akron

Will McClain, a blind preacher, recently led a revival at the Weasaw church last winter and now conducts a series of meetings at Omega about four miles southwest of Akron. J. A. Hostetler, present last Sunday, says the services attract many converts. Hostetler has preached with McClain for three weeks.

Miller Garage Delivers New 1916 Overland Car

The Miller Garage Co of Peru delivered a large Overland automobile to C. W. Long on Tuesday this week. The 1916 model is described as a neat looking machine and the first delivery of new cars this season in the area.

Teachers Institute to Meet at Peru High School

A joint Miami county teachers institute will be held at Peru high school next Saturday. Prof. Lewis J. Rettger of the Terre Haute state normal school will address the gathering. Rettger has spoken to Miami county teachers before and his lectures are described as helpful.
