Scalded by Steam Injures Courter Man Near Denver
Walter Kraning of Courter was severely scalded on the legs while draining water from a steam boiler at his father's home three miles south of Denver. The accident occurred last Wednesday when the water plug was pulled with several pounds of steam in the boiler. The skin peeled below the knee, but a doctor treated the wounds and he is reported to be recovering well.
