Governor Ralston will open the final conference between state tax commissioners and township trustees in the Indiana statehouse, with a list of participants from Porter to Whitley counties. Also noted are patent and trade mark grants, flood prevention plans, and Purdue farmers short course dates set for January 1–15.
Governor Ralston backs an auxiliary committee of the American Red Cross urging all state residents to aid war relief in Europe. Donors may send new clothing or nonperishable food without cost via free freight for a limited time. Contributions should be payable to John H. Holliday at Union Trust Building and forwarded to the Red Cross head office in Washington DC.
