The notice recalls MB Ged a longtime resident of the county born January 1835 in Wade sburg Kentucky who died September 28 in Reithsprine Linhis aged 72 years 14 months and 6 days She lived most of her life near Cuba and later moved with Landon Mills to Keithsbury Indiana and raised eight children Her brother Jesse M Jones of Mansfield was at her bedside She joined the ME church in 1843 and remained active serving as Sabbath School teacher and deaconess She attended services the Sunday before she died and the next day was carried to heaven amid white robes The report also notes local happenings including visits by William Fisher Caleb Petty and others and a winter plan for a Cass county resident and his mother in Denver
