Strange Journey Through West Virginia Mounts and Memories
Letter from West Virginia recounts a long carriage ride with relatives to Middlefork and old homestead. The writer recalls harsh mountain roads, family hardships, the vanished log house, and a river crossing on a pike bridge. A stop at old friends, churches, and graves yields reflections on family, faith, and cherished Indiana ties.
