Two Louisville girls were fined for disorderly conduct for smoking cigarettes on the street. The item questions if the nineteenth amendment would grant women the right to smoke wherever men do. Dr J W Newell was called to Rockfield Indiana Tuesday due to his brother in law Charles Stancil's illness. Stancil had a stroke a week earlier and worsened Tuesday. Newell returned Wednesday morning. Mr and Mrs Chas Derek Mr and Mrs A R Grimes and Wm Grimes drove to South Bend and Diamond Lake spending a few days with Saline family at their summer cottage. they reported good fishing and brought back eighty fish they caught.
