Leg Break On Gravel Road Near Hiner Hills
A. L. Davis was severely injured while helping operate a road plow on a gravel road between Denver and Peru. A clip and heavy double trees flew back striking him below the knee, breaking the leg in two places and dislocating ankle bones. He was taken home for treatment and Dr. Waymire attended to the injury.
