L. E. W. Restores Sunday Train Service with Two Routes
The L. E. W. railroad resumes Sunday trains with north and south routes. Train 20 departs Indianapolis at 6 59 a m and reaches Denver at 10 04 a m and Michigan City at 1 05 p m. Thieves Strike Homes Near Denver in Weekend Burglary
Thieves raided the home of Mr. and Mrs. V. W. Sellers two miles southwest of Denver while the family was away. They took Verge Sellers best suit, a revolver, a gold necklace belonging to Mrs. Sellers, and church envelopes, leaving an old coat in exchange. Neighbors recall an automobile idle nearby. The same day thieves entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Kraning three miles south of Denver, taking over $5 in cash.

Child of city patrolman dies after pneumonia
Charles Hays, a city police patrol driver, was summoned to Wabash for his infant child Carey who was ill with pneumonia. The child died Saturday at parents’ home two miles south of Wabash and was buried in Mt Hope cemetery after funeral services at 8:30 p m Monday. Robert Hahn replaced Hays on the patrol during the absence.
