Evangeline Ruth O Bleins born October 14 1895 in Foraker Elkhart County Indiana died April 9 1912 in Denver Miami County Indiana at age 16 years 5 months and 20 days. She joined the Baptist Church in Mentone at 14 and later in Denver Indiana. Funeral details given for Elizabeth with Rev Irvin Fisher at Courter church and burial in Courter cemetery.

House Barnes Fire Destroys Lew Fouts Residence
A defec tive flue caused a fire that destroyed Lew Fouts house north of Chili on Monday afternoon. Fouts, in Denver, learned of the loss on his return. Firefighters saved a nearby summer house and removed many lower room effects before the upper rooms burned. Fouts plans to rebuild after spring work.

The second examination for graduation for eighth grade pupils will be held next Saturday April 20 at the Denver School House.
