Caroline Post No. 29, American Legion, elected officers for 193% at its September 5 meeting led by Commander Sherman Tribbitt and Adjutant George Garman. The Legion discussed a Maryland highway job program allocation of 1,019,570 with Caroline’s share 36,602.56 and urged unemployed ex service men to enroll with Adjutant Samuel Jopp. Delegates at Ocean City also met Brig Gen Milton Reckord about a National Guard unit for Caroline county, which Reckord said would be the first designated.
