William David Turkington, first class electronic technician, arrives at his Denton parents home after more than three years of Navy service in Guam. A 1945 Caroline High School graduate, he attended Gulford, then graduated from Great Lakes Radio Materials School and Treasure Island Materials School in San Francisco. He reenlisted seeking assignment to Samoa and will spend a 60 day furlough at home, having left January 1946.
