Former POW to address Fifth Annual Methodist Laymen Banquet
Brig. Gen. Robert P. Taylor, deputy chief of Air Force chaplains and former World War II prisoner on Bataan, will speak at the Eas ton District Methodist Men banquet at Federalsburg High School at 6:30 p.m. Friday November 7. Taylor, a Texas native, earned the Silver Star and endured solitary confinement and bombed hell ships before becoming a chaplain and, this summer, a brigadier general. Tickets are available through lay leaders or ministers in Kent and surrounding counties.
