Funeral services were held for Mary Lee Wright the 17 month old daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas Fletcher Wright drowned in Stony Creek near Baltimore. The child wandered from Greenland Beach Anne Arundel county into the water while playing with her brother William three. Neighbors recovered the body about 25 feet from shore and artificial respiration by Orchard Beach Fire Department failed. The Wrights had moved from Denton to Greenland Beach earlier this month and Mary is granddaughter of J Fletcher Wright of Wilmington.
Funeral services for Lieut. Louise M. Hollister of the Army Nurse Corps who died at Suva Fiji Islands during the war were held at Denton cemetery with Rev. Thomas J. Turkington officiating. Hollister, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Hollister, was among war dead recently returned. The minister also sang a solo.
In loving memory of M Pearl Butler who died November 1 1945 a heartfelt tribute from William G Towers and Irene E Towers. The verse recalls a cherished face voice and touch and vows the memory endures beyond time with silent gratitude for shared days.
