Plymouth Six to Be Announced in Lowest Price Field
Walter P. Chrysler announced that Plymouth Motor Corporation will soon introduce a new six cylinder car in the lowest price field. Production will begin soon and the model will be shown to dealers nationwide with specifications withheld until shipment. The car features floating power engine mounting and new body lines, aiming for unprecedented value. About $9 million has been spent on development and plant retooling at Mt. Elliott Ave and Lynch Road. The Plymouth plant was reorganized to use advanced machine tool design, reflecting a shift toward greater value in merchandise and a renewed manufacturing approach.
