Rural Women's Short Course Club Dinner at Camp Mardela
The Rural Women's Short Course Club held its dinner at Camp Mardela on Thursday Oct 11 at 6 30 pm. About 60 attended the meal served by Mrs Esther Crouse and assistants. Mrs Kennard Holden reviewed the 1956 program and Short Courses at the University. Mrs Howard Harris led the devotional. Mrs George Lowe shared her San Antonio trip to the National Home Demonstration Council convention. Holden noted Mrs Lowe's poetry book profits and availability for 50c. Aarmchair tour by Mrs Oron Smith on a summer European trip through Belgium England Switzerland France and Holland entertained the group.
