In memory of Law rence Albert Dennis

In memory of my dear son, Law rence Albert Dennis, who departed this life September 14, 1920, twelve and a half years ago. In God's Care Farewell, dear son, is an awful word Which presses my heart. But it is the will of God That dearest ones shall part. Some time, some day my eyes shall see The face I loved so well. Some day his hand shall clasp in mine, We'll never say farewell. 'He left a memory fair and sweet, Its fragrance ne'er can die. 'He left his life not yet complete When God called him home on high. Loved and remembered by Mother, Elizabeth Collison.

Maryland motorist address change can save taxpayers money

Commissioner E Austin Baughman of the Maryland Motor Vehicles Office says notifying the agency of a change of address before October 10 can save taxpayers over two thousand dollars this year. He notes millions are wasted printing and mailing tag applications when addresses are wrong, and suggests a law imposing penalties for failing to report address changes. He cites past years with hundreds of thousands of returned applications and urges action despite economic concerns.
