Maloney Farm Hosts Baltimore Guests After Air Visit

Mr and Mrs Paul Maloney entertained at mid day dinner last Sunday. Mrs Maloney's parents Mr and Mrs Emmett Lord of Potter's Landing hosted a party of Baltimoreans who arrived by air landing in a field on the Maloney farm seven miles south of Denton near Silver Lake. The group included Mr Charles Lord and wife, Mr and Mrs Floyd Loatz and son Freddie, and aviator Mr Charles E Thompson. The Travel Air NC656N flew from North West Baltimore airport taking 32 minutes and returned to Baltimore early afternoon. Sunday School at Williston Community Church at 10:30 a.m. No afternoon service.

Morris County Junior College Opens In New Jersey

The dream of Charles I. Nuttle becomes reality as Morris County Junior College in Morristown opens with 225 students from six towns. Harvard graduate Richard K. Prentice directs. Helen B. Husk is registrar. Courses run 30 weeks with free tuition, potential admission to Princeton Rutgers or Drew. The project is funded by Mrs Frederic Rt Kellogg and Emergency Relief.
