Aphid Control Guidelines for Sprays and Dusts
Aphids are waxy and hard to wet. Add three pounds of soap powder per 100 gallons of spray. To kill aphids, spray or dust must directly hit them. Apply to both surfaces of all leaves and into the forming cabbage head. Use 200 pounds pressure, at least 100 gallons of spray per acre, and adjust nozzles to plant height. If applying as dust, 35 pounds per acre is advised.
