Doctors Credit Cortisone With Saving Animal Life
The AVMA cites a case where a four year old female painter dog nearly burned to death in a grass fire. Cortisone and supportive drugs revived the severely burned animal after 25 days, with nearly full healing by three months. Eyes At Work Warns War Efforts Need Better Vision
The Better Vision Institute urges improved vision among preparedness workers as industrial mobilization quickens. Tests show correcting seeing faults can raise factory output by 10 to 20 percent and improve fighting conditions, a margin that could decide victory in a close war. The institute formerly led WWII campaigns for eye care and better plant lighting, yielding heightened sight awareness for workers and bosses. Now renewed, more strenuous action is required.
