Big Memorial Day Celebration Here Tomorrow
The American Legion and other fraternal groups of Caroline County stage the Decoration Day program in Denton on Sunday May 28 starting at 1 PM on Court House green. A parade forms with multiple units including Milton Boys and Girls Band Easton Drum and Bugle Corps Federalsburg Band and Denton Band plus Boy Scouts and Red Men. After ceremonies at the cemetery a river pageant with a boat parade led by Commodore George Krill will follow with wreaths taps and cannon.
