The Seventh Annual Del-Mar-Va Volunteer Firemen's Association convention will be held at Princess Anne Maryland on May 13 1936. All companies invited whether members or not and Ladies Auxiliaries urged to attend. Executive Committee meets 9 30 am with convention to start 10 30 sharp. Prizes for bands bugle and drum corps and best company lines. Public address at 3 00 pm parade at 4 00 pm and evening show and street dance scheduled.

A farm owner or operator who desires to qualify for payments under the New Agricultural Conservation program will fill out a work sheet for each tract of land in the county. The chief purpose is to aid in setting up soil-depleting leases used to determine the farmer's contribution to soil conservation, eligibility for payment, and payment amount. Key data include the name and acreage of all crops harvested in 1935 and acreage on idle cropland, crop land pasture, non-crop pasture, orchards, vineyards, roads, lanes, buildings, and other non-crop land.
