Former Denton Pastor Succumbs
Funeral services for the Rev. James T. Richardson retired minister died at his home on Crawford Street Middletown Delaware last week at age 74 were held from Tobin Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 2 Interment was in Gracelawn Memorial Park near Wilmington He had been ill five weeks Death attributed to heart condition brought on by rheumatism He was born in Bangor Pennsylvania and spent his early life there He attended Carlisle and Dickinson Colleges and began ministry with East Maine Conference His charges included Searsport Buckport MD Church Hill Md Denton Md Frederick Md North East Md Rock Hall Md Cookman Wilmington Md Mt Pleasant Belleville Preston Md Harrington Chesapeake City and Odessa where he served one year retiring to Middletown in 1929 He was a member of Bethesda M E Church and an honorary member of the Middletown Rotary Club He is survived by his widow and four children J W Richardson Laura O Richardson and Mrs D Harris Frazier of Wilmington and Robert A Richardson Middletown He also leaves two brothers three sisters and a grandson
