Man Found Dead Behind Nearby Barn in Burrsville
Ovid Grace Sorden a bachelor age 66 living near Denton was found dead behind his barn at noon last Friday February 22 by neighbor’s son Charlie Griffin while searching for a duck nest. Coroner Henry R. Lewis ruled death from natural causes likely a heart attack. He had visited Griffin’s home for over an hour Thursday afternoon. Survived by sister Florence Squires and brothers Harry Herman and Frederick Sorden. Funeral held at Pilgrim Holiness Church Denton Sunday at 2 p.m. with interment in Wesley Methodist Episcopal Chapel churchyard Burrsville.
