Dr. R. Floyd Cromwell of the State Board of Education spoke at Caroline High School graduation Friday night, proposing Cromwell's Law On Marriage as a warning to girls to be prepared for any eventuality in marriage. He contrasted it with Mendels Law and urged that no girl be ready for living if she needs to work. Principal T. Conover Crouse awarded medals to outstanding graduates including Jean Beaven and Wilson Reese Smith, with others recognized for athletics, commercial work, drama, and loyalty. G. Linden Duffy presented diplomas as the program featured the glee club under Miss Genevieve Rugh.
