Doctor Harold B. Plummer, resident interne at Delaware Hospital Wilmington, invited by Preston Chamber of Commerce to practice there. Born in Wilmington, he is a 1935 Jefferson Medical College graduate, 1931 University of Delaware alum. Preston had been without a resident physician since Dr. T. B. Marden’s death in April.

Maryland farmers get soil conserving payments under new Roosevelt program
The Department of Agriculture released the Maryland schedule of average per acre payments under the soil conserving aid replacing the AAA.
