The Farm Act A New Type of Co operation
Henry Wallace says food production now includes many nonfarmers who contribute along the supply chain. Farmers, processors, distributors, and workers from trucks to rails are all producers. The Agricultural Adjustment Act creates a cooperative framework with government as a partner to organize and align these diverse producers. Farmers and food sellers must active the machinery.

Wheat Growers Told Of Benefits Of Plan Campaign Explained By County Agent
County Agent W. P. Evans says a nationwide Agricultural Adjustment Act campaign will explain a plan to pay wheat growers to reduce acreage. Meetings will spread the program through the county to adjust supply with demand and support prices. Farmers entering contracts will receive about two thirds of the 1933 payment by mid September, with the remainder around June 1, 1934 after compliance proof. The payment rate is expected near 30 cents per bushel, in addition to market payments.
