Bell System Legionnaires and families toured New York in a visit organized by Bell Companies including AT&T Long Lines New York Telephone Bell Labs and Western Electric. A registration center in the Long Lines Building registered nearly 300 visitors from 21 Bell System and other firms with the Alexander Graham Bell Post of Boston contributing a group.
