Denton junior high teams prevail in football and basketball
Denton Junior High defeated Rock Hall Junior High 53 to 26 in basketball. Denton Junior Varsity beat Ridgely JV 27 to 21, while Denton JV won 19 to 18 over Federalshore. Seventh grade basketers fell to Ridgely 19 to 4 with weekly league scores including Centreville 76, Ridgely 66, and Denton 104, Chestertown 71. Upcoming games list Easton at Rock Hall and Ridgely at Chestertown on Jan 22 and 24 through 27 at multiple venues.
