Denton Youth Named West Point Cadet by Congressman
George Gregg Everngam of Denton has been chosen by Congressman T Alan Goldsborough for appointment as a United States Military Academy cadet at West Point New York effective July 1 1935. He leads Riverside Military Academy Gainesville Ga in a student body of about six hundred. He will undergo a board examination at Fort McPherson Ga on March 15 unless exempted by the Academy Board. He is a 1933 Caroline High School graduate and a descendant of longtime Caroline county families. He has a brother Thomas Everngam of Washington DC.
