Denton Fire Company Launches Honorary Membership Campaign
The Tri County District of the Del Marva Council Boy Scouts of America will hold its annual Testimonial dinner for Scoutmasters at the Primrose Tea Room Easton Md on Tuesday January 11 at 615 pm to honor district Scoutmasters. Frederic Wellington Scout Executive and Frank Evans Council President will attend and speak briefly. The morning of January 12 the district finance drive to fund scouting in Caroline County will begin led by Paul S Van Dyke Denton chairman with regional chairs in Denton Federalsburg Preston Ridgely Greensboro Henderson and others. Officials say scouting remains vital during wartime emphasizing health mental moral and citizenship values and honoring volunteer Scout leaders who keep up their work during war time.

He earned third class petty officer rating last September after Hospital Corps School in Portsmouth and further training at the Naval Operating Base Norfolk. He previously lived in Denton and Seaford, with prior home in Dorchester county. his wife Louise Roe, formerly of Denton, has resided in Portsmouth since last summer.

Northeaster Lashes Delmarva as Bay Area Rescues Three
