Denton Production Credit to Elect Directors at Meeting
Farmers and others in Caroline Dorchester Kent Queen Anne's and Talbot counties are invited to the first annual meeting of stockholders of the Denton Production Credit Association in the Denton Court House at 10 a m January 17. About 170 stockholders are expected to attend with friends to elect a board of directors for the ensuing year and discuss the association's role in providing short term cooperative loans for farmers and stockmen with loans designed to mature when products are marketed.

Denton Defeats Ridgely In Six to One Victory
Denton defeated Ridgely here last Sunday by 6 to 1 in a clean contest. Orme opened the scoring, Buck Bennington added a second in the first period, and Fleetwood scored again in the third. Ridgely's lone point came in the last period as Young finished with five goals for the Denton boys. They travel to Greensboro this Sunday to face Greensboro, whom they lost to 2 to 0 earlier this season.

Orphans Court Meets in Caroline County
The Caroline county Orphans Court met December 31 with Judges Towers Handy and Dennis. Executors Gruwell and Melvin filed the sale account for Laura A Gruwell, admin letters were granted to Thomas Q Beck with bond approved. The court authorized Lillie Fearins to withdraw funds for funeral expenses and released legatees in multiple motions. Final ratifications approved for Royer and Wilhelm real estate sales. Court adjourned to January 8 at 10 a.m.
