Conservation Supervisors Candidates For Re election
Terms of office for three of the five supervisors of the Caroline Soil Conservation District will expire February 10, 1951, and the regular triennial election of these officials has been scheduled for February 20, 1951, announces I M Rogers, county agricultural agent. All persons who possess farm land in the county will be eligible to vote on February 20, 1951. A polling station will be open in the county agent's office in the Denton Court House from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., where eligible land owners who do not vote by mail may cast ballots. The following candidates have been re-nominated: W. S. Carroll, Ridgely. Clayton Roe, Denton. Chris Nagel, Federalsburg. The other two board members are Harry H. Rieck, Preston, chairman, and H. K. Shults, Marydel, appointed by the State Soil Conservation Committee. their three-year terms expire November 29, 1952.
