The Cost Of The Bay Bridge In The Maryland Debate
A Baltimore Sun writer argues the Bay Bridge is costly but far cheaper than the loss from not building it. He condemns Maryland’s road, fisheries, and agricultural investments that aid other states and urges funding a Chesapeake bridge as a wartime memorial and economic lifeline for Maryland. The piece questions reliance on Wilmington markets and cites military memorials and civic groups pushing the project.
