Walter R. Rudy, Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, announces 1937 tags becoming available February 15 1937 since Maryland license plates expire March 31 1937. Re registrations will not be mailed before that date and 1937 tags may be bought and displayed immediately on first time registrations for new residents or car purchases.

Maryland farmers gather January 12 to 15 for the annual farm organizations clave in Baltimore. Fourteen group sessions include the Maryland Farm Bureau Woolpool and Livestock Marketing, Poultry Council, Stockmen's Association, Vegetable Growers, and Crop Improvement, plus 4 H leaders and cooperative insurance reps. National figures Chester Grey and Harvey Hull are slated to attend along with Maryland farm leaders. More time will be devoted to group discussions and planning for the year.
