County Bird Club To Hold First Fall Meeting
The Caroline County Bird Club will start the 1952-53 season with a meeting on Thursday September 4 at 8:00 p.m. in the Annex of the Church of the Brethren in Denton. The program features Hawks and Owls of the county with slides and charts, plus a discussion of the coming year and members’ unusual summer bird experiences. The public is invited.

Tom ato truck with a load of tomatoes overturned last Thursday at Piney Branch injuring minor bruises to Joe Porter Winters of Cambridge who faced an unsafe load charge. Cargo valued at 500 dollars. Fifteen Caroline County Holstein breeders and five others visited four top Holstein herds in Frederick County on Friday August 22 1952.
